"Being dyed in the wool" (an oid Dutch saying)

Beautiful shades of colour are obtained by dying the crude (unspon) fleece.

One dye-bath may contain several colours. They are always selected to harmonise, although one can never predict the exact outcome.

The wool is colourfast and washable.
Every project created with it is absolutely unique.

The colours will always differ a little. This is not only due to the dying technique, but also the nature of the plant-derived colours for the dyes, which can differ from season to season. The quality of wool varies per sheep as well, for instance in texture and grease content.

Both wool and colours are natural products, processed in an environmentally friendly manner.

The wool is taken out of a dye-bath

This method will not allow for standardisation of the colours, which is just as well. This way one can make unexpected and exciting new discoveries!
